Season 13, Episode 6: Points

Lee got fired and subsequently ditched in the wilds of Norway on the two-on-one. Hope he’s read Hatchet recently. Dude has to sail by the stars back to the U.S.

We also lost a TON of good men this week (Anthony, Josiah, Kenny, Will, and Alex) — if your team is hurting, never fear. We’ve got the Mid-Season Draft coming up this week. Stay tuned for another post on that later this week.

Also: Bryan won the wildcard points for being the first person to predict that Lee was going to go home on the two-on-one date.

  1. Kate Lewis says:

Wasn’t it Adam who required medical attention?

  2. Ben says:

Will did get a kiss when they were talking to the old couple I believe

  3. Ashley says:

Like Kate mentioned, Adam required medical attention, also a few more points:

    1) Eric: Dancing points, from before he got on the boat with Rachel

    2) Do all guys on the group date get “shoving” points from the Viking activity? One part of the date was literally to shove each other out of the circle and they were all participating. Can’t remember if these points are only given in a situation where they are actually fighting vs a group activity/date.

    3) Will: Didn’t he kiss her at the beginning of the date, when they were chatting with the older couple in the cafe? It was a small peck, but still a kiss!

  4. cristina says:

I do believe Ashley is correct about the shoving points, as those were awarded to everyone on the mud wrestling date.

    Two more things-

    1) Kenny said “I feel like I just fell in love with her right then and there” as Rachel was walking him out after eliminating him.

    2) Should Lee get some shit talking points? After his smarmy-ass “Ok, sweetheart,” he says that Kenny threatened him again, was cussing him out, told him to die in a lake.

    • Melanie says:

yes! I was trying to find where Kenny said that. I’m giving Kenny those points and also Lee those talking shit points.

    • Bach Fantasy says:

Didn’t catch Kenny saying that but I’ll update now.

LMAO to “told him to die in a lake.” Updating that now too!

      • Sara says:

Lee – “He sat down cussing me out.”
Lee – “He told me to go die in a lake.”

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I’m surprised more people haven’t told Lee to do that.

  5. Laura says:

The spreadsheet has the mid-season draft between episodes 5 and 6. My league did our mid-season on Monday night because that’s how the spreadsheet was set up. Please clarify!

    • Bach Fantasy says:

Hey, that’s totally fine! That’s when it has always occurred for us. However, this season is just slightly different because we did not anticipate The Bach doing back-to-back episodes between Episodes 5 and 6. We figured a 24-hour turnaround was going to be mega-hectic for a lot of our leagues to pull off a mid-season draft if they had never done one before. So no worries that you already did it — you’re a Bach Fantasy purist and I like it.

  6. Anon says:

How does Kenny not get “leaving early on his own accord” points? He initiated the conversation by, basically saying “our relationship is missing something and I want to go home to my daughter”

    • Melanie says:

I initially gave Kenny those points but then decided against it b/c I think he would have stayed if he had gotten affirmation from Rachel. He was basically like “tell me if you like me so I can stay” and she was like “peace.”

    • Bach Fantasy says:

Yeah we decided that he was opening up the convo but ultimately Rachel was the one who said, “I think you should go.” He would’ve 100% stayed if she had asked him to.

  7. Cass K says:

My league didn’t do the redraft by episode 6 (we normally give a couple days to redraft) so how does that work to prevent cheating? is there an easy way to change the redraft to after episode six?

    • Bach Fantasy says:

ABC can never just make it easy on us. I’m going to repost a scoresheet for anyone who is doing the mid-season draft after episode 6 tonight. Stay tuned!

  8. Melanie says:

Hi! Just rewatched the episode and here are my findings:

Adam: +20 for needing medical attention, +20 for shoving/hitting another contestant, +20 for saying he’s falling for Rachel (kinda premature of him, but he says it at 0:55 while they are being macho in the boat)

Alex: -20 for needing medical attention (it was Adam!), +20 for shoving/hitting +5 for wearing a helmet (during the end credits when he and Dean are being adorable – they take off those floppy head things and put on real metal helmets)

    Bryan: +20 shoving/hitting

Dean: +5 for wearing a helmet (end credits), +20 for shoving/hitting

Eric: +5 for dancing before getting on the boat, +25 for getting the rose to stay another week (so a total of 50 of those points since he got one rose at the rose ceremony and another post 1:1). I’m also not awarding parents relationship points (-5) b/c he really just talked about not being loved by his mom which is SO SAD. He didn’t mention the parents relationship.

Kenny: +5 for wearing a helmet (when he won the viking thing), +20 for shoving/hitting. Since he didn’t get the rose on the 2:1, I’m only giving him 25 for staying another week, not 35, but I’m stingy. Question for the group – did anyone hear Kenny say he was falling for her? I wrote down he did but then couldn’t find it to confirm.

Lee: +20 for talking shit to Rachel about another contestant (when he accused Kenny of pulling him out of the van in front of his face!) Ugh he’s disgusting

    Matt: +20 shoving/hitting

    Peter: +20 shoving/hitting

Will: +10 for kissing Rachel in front of the old couple (around 1:31)

    • cristina says:

Ooh yes, you are correct about Eric, he did get two roses in this episode. Regarding Kenny’s rose, she may not have given it to him when she eliminated Lee, but he got it later that night, which was a definitely a continuation of the 2 on 1 date.

    • Bach Fantasy says:

      Hey Melanie!

Agree with many of your edits and most have been updated. We did give Kenny the rose points for the two-on-one because he eventually did get it.

We debated about Eric and his parents’ relationship — he mentioned it was just his mom raising him with no dad in the picture, so we figured that kinda counted as discussing their relationship, or lack thereof.

Other than that, everything is updated! thanks for the help

  9. Jamaica DeSantis says:

i saw somebody else already comment on this, but wanted to clarify myself. my league did not do our mid-season draft yet. i know we wouldn’t have been able to get that turned around in 24 hours. any thoughts on changing the current spreadsheet so that the points for everyone’s new picks are being rewarded starting episode 7 instead of episode 6 as it’s set up on the spreadsheet? thanks for all you do ladies!! xxo!

    • Bach Fantasy says:

Hi Jamaica! I’ll post an updated scoresheet tonight/tomorrow. ABC can never just make it easy, can they?

  10. Becca says:

Yes please post an updated spreadsheet. I had to do the points by hand tonigh. Something went wonky!!!

    Thanks!

  11. Ryan says:

Should Kenny, Lee, Will and and Alex’s points count for the most recent episode? I’m confused as to how it works as the site I use (fantasizr.com) has counted their points.

  12. Melanie says:

One more annoying comment from the points police (aka me):

-Alex kissed her at 1:16, pre Kenny breakdown. +10 for Alex. I feel like since that sexy Russian got kicked off he at least should get those deserved points!
