Did you know we’re on Facebook and also on Twitter? We live-tweet every episode, often while drinking and yelling at the TV. It’s a good time. Come tweet with us!
Didn’t Clint give Kaitlyn that painting and Joe gave her the moonshine?
Updated! Thanks, Lynn. We had those in our notes but they got lost in translation.
what do we do for creepy Nick? How can we incorporate him in? Wildcard: how many episodes he lasts? Thoughts?
also are you going to add “penetration points”?
Penetration points TBD. ABC is breaking all the rules this season!
Nick was a curveball we were not expecting. He is not eligible for the draft, but I’m sure we’ll come up with some Wildcard points categories centered around interactions with him.
When Shawn B said “I believe in love at first tight and I actually think it might have happened tonight”, does that count as saying they are falling in love?
Not quite! We need it to be a little more explicit than that. (Um how cute are those two, though?)
So this is my first time doing a fantasy league and I can’t even put into works how frickin exciting it has made this season already and its only week one! I have to say thank you thank you THANK YOU for doing all the heavy lifting (like making the spreadsheet and tracking the points) to make this so awesome for all of us!
Hi Shea! We’re so happy that you’re so excited and glad to hear that we’re making it easier for you!
Hi there! Two things: Didn’t Justin mention having a child? And also wasn’t Jonathan the first to express disappointment in the Bachelorette choice, not Tony?
Thanks!
Yes I agree with both of these things! Justin definitely talked about having a kid and right after they announced who the bachelorette was, Jonathan was the first one they showed expressing his opinion. Tony was just more dramatic about it, lol.
Hi Maeghen, sorry for the long delay. You’re right that it was Justin and not Ryan B. that mentioned having a kid in episode 1. It’s hard to tell these dudes apart in the first 60 minutes. We stand by Tony expressing disappointment however! Thanks for pointing that out. Points are updated!
This is so great, thank you so much for doing this once again!
Need to ask – I think Justin mentioned he has a kid! And also, when did Ryan B. mention his kid?
Hey Dan! You’re right; it was Justin who had the kid and NOT Ryan B. Points are updated accordingly, and we’ll be sure to include a call-out tomorrow so everyone who plays along with us across the country is aware. Thanks!
Tanner should also get a +5 “Steal her/You” bonus when he takes Kaitlyn away from drunk Ryan
Hi there – good call. Even though he wasn’t interrupting with the intention of talking to Kaitlyn, he still did interrupt. We’ll add those points to his total for this week.
I’m pretty certain Ryan B doesn’t have a kid and didn’t mention it…I set my draft up so all the dad’s are in one box and one of your choices must be a dad, and he isn’t in the box. I can’t find anything online about him being a dad…
You’re right! It’s Justin who has the kid and not Ryan B. So sorry about that! Points are updated accordingly.
We decided to include Nick as part of our draft. That way the person that drafted Nick will get any wildcard points associated with him. (I’m the one that picked him, so hopefully that wasn’t a mistake letting him take up a slot on my team!) We know from the previews that he’s there at least long enough to kiss Kaitlyn, so hopefully he brings some interesting drama to the mix!
Ooh interesting! Let us know how that plays out!
I had a question, do you guys post what the wildcard category is before the episode or only after? Where do I find that information?
Hi Taryn! We always tweet the Wildcard points for the episode before it starts. Follow us at @bachfantasy
where do you usually post the wild card weekly points?
We’ll post it on Twitter before each episode – @bachfantasy
I’m a veteran Bach Fantasy League commissioner, but this is my first time using your spreadsheet. So far, I’m beyond impressed. Thank your tech genius for me!
Thank you so much! I’ll pass the news along to my co-founder, Becca. She is the whiz behind the spreadsheet.
