The Bachelor heads to Ben’s all-American hometown in Warsaw, Indiana, where the contestants looked bored as they fly kites, ride a pontoon back and forth across a lake, drive 200 miles to see Wrigley Field, and then come back to serve McDonald’s to the townspeople in a (terribly) sponsored bit of content. Warsaw, Indiana: It’s Just a Small Town in Indiana, Despite How Hard “The Bachelor” Tried to Prove Otherwise.

Wasn’t Lauren B crying when she was hugging Emily from behind towards the end?
She was whimpering but no moisture.
Don’t the 4 girls who made it all get an additional 50 points for “making it to hometown dates?”
As stated in the intro, that gets awarded next week when Ben actually makes it to hometowns.
Awkwarrrrd
@bachfantasy we are still battling over the mid/season draft. Can you please confirm if you didn’t have a full team, and got a new player, do you get their entire seasons worth of points? Or just after episode 6?
Hi Sarah!
If you added a new player, you only get their points moving forward from episode 6 and on. Thanks!
Hello! Hope you had a great V-day.
Here are my questions for the week:
-didn’t Amanda express fear of date activity pre canoeing adventure? The beginning of this scene was interrupted by some BS weather report but sounded like she said something to that effect.
-I didn’t see Becca or Emily kiss Ben. Becca came close when she told him not to blindside her (foreshadowing!). When did he kiss these two?
Thanks!
Hi!
– Amanda did say she was nervous but not about the date activity (the rowboats and flying kites); I think she was nervous about the situation with Ben. I decided not to count it.
– I thought Ben and Becca kissed as the camera panned away during their little forehead “blindside” moment. Didn’t he and Emily kiss at the beginning of their one-on-one? Now I’m doubting myself because I watched at 1 a.m. last night after a long day of work…if any other commenters have insight, let us know!
Love your dedication and watching at 1am. Good for you. Priorities! My friends asked if I wanted to watch the Grammy’s last night and now I seriously question how well they know me.
Just rewatched- no kiss with Becca post blindside. Just awkward virginal forehead moment.
Also rewatched Emily’s painful date. Thank goodness for the mute button. But no smoochies.
Thanks again for everything!
I did not see Ben kiss Becca.. unsure about Emily
He kissed Emily. Did not kiss becca
Amazing, thank you for the rewatch! Updated now :)
He kissed Emily. I remember cheering bc it’s the first time it showed them kissing!
When are they getting the 50 for making it to hometowns? If it’s next week, that wouldn’t really make sense.
That get 50 points next week for making it to hometown dates when Ben actually goes to their hometown. You never know on this show; he might let someone go, he might introduce a new person before hometowns.
Ya can’t count your chickens before they hatch.
You said Becca is going to the hometown dates, but she is crossed off the list! You might want to fix that mistake.
My bad, I wrote that at 1 a.m. Fixed.
Thanks!
What about 5 points to JoJo for wearing a helmet?
Hmm when was JoJo in a helmet?
On their date at Wrigley Field. He pitched a baseball to her and she was wearing a baseball helmet
Goood call, updated now. Thanks!
Didn’t Amanda mention hometowns and him meeting her kids?
She did and she received points for mentioning her kids. The wildcard points went to the first lady to mention the hometown date and that was JoJo.
Ok so I totally need to stop obsessing on her, but when Emily yells IM NERVOUS at bens house, is that expressing fear of the date activity (meeting the parents?)
Ooooh…interesting…I’m gonna say no on that because we haven’t been awarding points for just stating I’m nervous about the DATE rather than the specific activity…does that make sense? It’s been a long week and I’m not totally coherent.
