Hometowns!
In Hoxie, Arkansas, Raven and Nick ride ATVs, wrestle in mud and gator piss, and then hike to the top of a grain silo, where her brother fake-arrests them.
In Houston, Rachel’s family was completely adorable…but the date felt pointless because we know she’s the next Bachelorette. Why did ABC release that info so soon?
In Miami, Corinne and Nick created a Clueless montage in Miami’s “most exclusive mall,” before retreating to Corinne’s family’s high-rise apartment, where they ate olives and drank wine out of what can only be described as individual punch bowls.
In Montreal, we met 97 of Vanessa’s closest friends and family (but nary a statement necklace in sight…).
Wildcard points: 15 points to any lady with a family member wearing a statement necklace. Corinne’s dad was rocking a sweet gold chain with a few chest pubes poking out, but a statement necklace it was not.

I think Vanessa gave Nick a gift – the scrapbook her students made. Yes? :)
Dang, bae, you’re right. Updated!
There was a rose ceremony at the beginning of the night – all 4 got roses, even Raven who got the date rose last week – does she get to count her rose last night too?!!?!
Definitely not a rose ceremony
but the category is “getting the rose to stay another week,” which they all did.
You are right Kate, it wasn’t a traditional rose ceremony, more of a rose sit-around, but they all did get a rose to stay another week.
MNick said he didn’t want to put them through a normal rose ceremony, but he still asked each girl if they would accept the rose. I feel like that still counts as “getting a rose to stay another week”.
I’m thinking the “making it to hometown dates” points are in lieu of the points they would normally get for a rose?
Raven already got those points last week. If you get a rose from a date you dont also get “rose to stay another week” points as well. even though she got a literal second rose, she still shouldnt double dip on points. (bitter about being last place in my league…)
I believe that one of rachels family members i believe her older sister had on a statement necklace
Sorry i just saw that Rachel has points for the statement necklaces. never mind.
I believe Rachel’s hometown was in Dallas – not Houston.
Does anyone get the points for “discussing parents relationship”? I feel like raven and Vanessa spoke about it to nick in this episode
They did, and their points are already included!
Hello! Sorry I’m late to the party. I had an interview this morning and literally said to the panel “I swore I wasn’t going to talk about the Bachelor here, but the job means so much to me I actually waited till Tuesday night to watch instead of Monday so I could prepare.” So I probably won’t be getting that job. Alas.
Here are my questions for this week:
1) Did Corinne say she was in love with him to the camera or to an olive-eating member of her family? I feel like she did.
2) At the very end of the episode during the credits, Vanessa gives Nick an Italian pocket dictionary. Can that be considered a gift?
As always, thanks for all you do!
Melanie
HAHAH Melanie. If it were up to us, you’d be hired.
1. I did not catch that but it’s VERY possible she said that because she likes to toss that phrase around a lot. Can anyone else confirm?
2. My dang DVR often cuts off the credits and it’s legit never been a problem until this season, when the women are always doing points-earning shenanigans in the last 10 seconds of the show. That would totally count, but I’ve already awarded her five points for the scrapbook her students made him, so we’re already covered :)
Thank you!

“I think Corrinne is the lid to Nick’s pot. I really do!” – Papa Olympios — this is not a category I just thought it was the most ridiculous phrase but upon Googling I guess it’s an “old Southern adage” – https://www.aspiremag.net/a-lid-for-every-pot-theres-a-partner-for-everyone/ —-
