Season 21, Episode 7: Points

Last night was a bit of a sleeper episode. We finally got to the famous “my vagine is platinum” episode and it was a letdown, much like what happened in the nether regions in that suite, METHINKS. I did, however, learn that there’s an island called Bimini. Who knew?

  • Corinne: 50 points – STAT CORRECTION

  1. Jenna says:

Hi! Thank you so much for all you do every week on here. My crew loves our league! I do think Danielle M. should get points for dancing. She and Nick were definitely groovin’ to voice overs around the same time as their basketball game. Thanks!

  2. Jessie says:

ABC announced the next Bachelorette last night. Should that girl be getting points for that this week? (I’m purposely not mentioning the specific girl because it’s kind of a spoiler and if you don’t want to give the points until the end that makes sense too)

  3. Martha says:

Thanks for all the work you do each week, it is greatly appreciated!

  4. Danielle says:

Should Raven get 50 points for making it to hometowns?

  5. Pam says:

Maybe a new points category? Sneaking out of your hotel and into the bachelor’s hotel?

    • Sara says:

I agree for the future that this is a fun one! (Sneaking over to the Bach’s hotel room for extra time.) I feel like we have at least one of these each season.

  6. Jeff says:

Danielle was definitely dancing with the Nick on their one on one date. I also believe it would make sense for Raven to get points for hometown dates because she got a rose.

    • Bach Fantasy says:

We always award Hometown Points during the actual Hometowns, just in case any shenanigans happen and the contestants don’t actually make it home with the Bachelor/ette.

  7. cristina says:

agree on danielle m. getting points for dancing, and (i realize my efforts may be futile) raven was technically in a bathing suit before vanessa was. you could clearly see it under her white coverup when nick announced they were going to bimini/the ladies were packing their suitcases.

    • Bach Fantasy says:

      Yes, gotta update Danielle!

And I think we’ll stick with Vanessa because Raven’s was covered up. But good eye, girl.

  8. Jeff says:

I agree with Christina your efforts are futile but technically Raven was wearing hers first.

  9. Cathi says:

Points for Corrine for being visibly drunk in the scene after the credits? I mean, she passed out holding a glass of bubbly…

    • Bach Fantasy says:

HAHA I know…I waffle back and forth because she seems almost like she’s drunk EVERY SINGLE EPISODE?! But also, she famously sleeps a lot, so it’s confusing. I’ve been awarding this season when another contestant comments on it outright or she slurs her words. So I stand by my ruling for last night.

  10. Dan says:

Other people have said it, but Danielle M. should get points for Dancing and Rachel should get points for being the Bachelorette. Also, I thought I heard all of them say they were falling for Nick. I thought Rachel said it on her date, and Corinne and Kristina said towards the end of the episode.

Thank you for everything you do!

    • Bach Fantasy says:

      Updated for Danielle. :)

Can anyone else verify that Corinne, Kristina, and Rachel said it any point in time during last night’s ep?

    • Melanie says:

Corinne says “falling deeper” for Nick at 0:57. Does that count?

      • Melanie says:

Sorry for multiple comments, rematching as we speak. Rachel says it at 1:43 “I am falling for Nick.”

Corinne says “I’ve fallen for him” at 1:50.

I didn’t hear Kristina say it.

And after watching the episode 3 times I’m cutting myself off from further research.

  11. Melanie says:

Hi! Quick thing. You gave one girl 5 points for dancing and another 10. I think they both should be 5, so Danielle’s score should be 100. Thank you and Happy Valentine’s Day!

    • Bach Fantasy says:

Updating now! Thanks for the catch :) Also, I’m updating the two “fallen” points. Thank you for your in-depth research!

  12. Andi says:

    Hi,
There was no official rose ceremony at the beginning of the episode, but that was only because Nick had sent home enough people during the dates that it would be pointless. Shouldn’t all the girls (with the exception of Kristina and Raven) get points for staying another week?

  13. Jessica says:

Would Corinne get points for being visibly drunk during the end credits of this weeks episode. She was kind of a mess (shocker!) and took another classic Corinne nap.

  14. derekcarty says:

Thanks for all you guys do! A few things I noticed:
    1) Danielle M. was awarded 10 points for dancing instead of 5
    2) Corinne and Rachel expressed that they were falling for Nick
    3) There haven’t been rose ceremonies, but shouldn’t these girls be getting points for advancing? There wasn’t one at the start of the episode because of the craziness with Nick eliminating like twelve girls last episode, and there wasn’t one at the end of this week, even though coming to the house and eliminating Kristina was essentially a rose ceremony for the other girls without putting Kristina through the emotional turmoil of standing there and not getting a rose.

  15. Doesn’t Corinne get points for being bleeped out for swearing during her multiple, diary-cam freak outs?
