Well tonight’s episode checked off our boxes: Tidy conclusion to a journey of emotional discovery? Check. Statement jewelry? Check. An overbearing parent who kinda maybe wants to date their kid? Check. Doubts about whether 6 weeks is enough to decide to propose to someone you’re dating non-exclusively? Check. ABC lowering the bar again and exploiting a family’s grief and trauma for 15 minutes of content? Big fat mother trucking check.
In the end, we say goodbye to Dean and are left to bear another week watching Bryan suck Rachel’s face. Bleh.
We decided not to give Eric “I love you” points. We heard both sides and decided that because Rachel didn’t feel he said it, it doesn’t count. If you feel differently, feel free to award the points in your league. Bless up.

Hello! Appreciate your point-tracking, as always! Minor question, but should Eric get dancing points? He did his little wiggle-dance when Rachel first walked up to him. I think that move has gotten dancing points before, but I couldn’t remember if it’s supposed to be a double-dancing with Rachel to qualify. Thnx!
I would agree on dancing points – even if the ‘greeting’ doesn’t count when they were sitting down with his family he recreated his dance when he first met her on ATFR, and Rachel (and the whole fam) took part!
Should Dean get points for expressing fear of a date activity? He at one point walking up to his dad’s place says “I am terrified” I know it isn’t the same fear as he expressed for the blimp but I think it should still be considered fear.
Aren’t there points for discussing a deceased loved one? Because that definitely happened on Dean’s terrible, awful, definition of exploitation date.
Hello! Just rewatched, and here are my questions/comments/point adjustment recommendations.
Bryan:
+5 for discussing is parents relationship (he described them as “opposites attract”)
+10 for expressing fear of a date activity (he said “I’m a little nervous)
-30 because I don’t think he said “I love you” to her – did I miss that? I just heard him say “I’m in love with you”
+20 for “I’m falling in love with you”
Dean
+10 for expressing fear of a date activity (hanging w/ his Dad)
+10 for mentioning a deceased loved one (his mom)
Eric
+5 for dancing
+30 for saying “I love you” to the Bachelorette. Yes, he qualified it, but he said the words!
Peter
+5 for giving the Bachelorette a gift (honey sticks and pickles from the farmers market)
does dean get points for mentioning a deceased love oe? mentioning his parents relationship? being told I’m falling in love with you by the bachelorette? (I’m just trying to ab points on our last player to get kicked off :*(
