  1. Sara says:

Hi! I feel like this episode was a bit boring/predictable, yes? Like obviously she wasn’t going to move forward the 2 guys she literally hasn’t spoken to yet this season.

    Anyway, minor note – Adam’s name needs a strike-through! :D

    • Bach Fantasy says:

Such a boring episode! I cannot wait for Hometowns. Poor Dean. What is going on with his dad, the love guru?

And thanks about the strike-through, added in now!

      • Sara says:

From the preview it seems like Dean’s dad would be tough to have as a dad BUT will also make great television… Any votes for Dean’s dad to go to Paradise?

  2. Melanie says:

I completely agree, Sara. They should have done a better job of editing.

    Additional observations:

    1) Does anyone else think of Adam as short? Every time I think of him, I think of him as very short. But then I see him next to Eric and Matt, who are tall, and he’s just as tall. It’s perplexing. Also, let’s just remember that the guy who brought a creepy doll is in the top 6. Anything can happen.

    2) For Matt, the worst part about the episode was probably not that she sent him home but that he was put in a position to babysit Adam the entire time.

    3) Dean telling Adam not to punch him in the face after getting his 1:1 date makes me love him even more. (Dean, not Adam. I don’t love Adam.)

    • Bach Fantasy says:

We were so shocked to see how swole Adam and Matt were when they were sitting at the table discussing the one-on-one dates going on. We were like, maybe she’s strictly keeping them around for their bods?! (And obviously not anymore.)

OH DEAN. I feel so bad about his home life. His dad looks like a PIECE OF WORK to put it so mildly.

  3. Melanie says:

Question – when did Adam tell Rachel he was falling in love with her during this episode? I know he prematurely said it in a previous episode, but I didn’t hear it this time.

    • Sara says:

Good point — I just rewatched and Adam did not say it during his one-on-one time with Rachel during the group date, and he also did not say it in the limo. Rachel brought it up during the one-on-one time and also in her confessional after the limo left, but Adam never actually said to her during those moments.

However, Adam did get a LOT of airtime this episode so he may have said it earlier on in the episode during a confessional… would have to rewatch to check.

(Is it called a confessional? Am I just thinking of The Real World here?)

      • Melanie says:

I did some research (ie asked my friend who was a contestant on a previous season of the Bachelorette) and he said they are called ITM which means “in the moment.” Not interview or confessional. You learn something new every day!

And yes, I rewatched the episode twice and all I got was annoyed at Adam. Did anyone hear him say he’s falling in love??

    • Bach Fantasy says:

Yeah good call, it truly may not have happened — we gave him the points because Rachel said, “Adam told me he’s falling in love with me” and we assumed we missed him saying it, but if he didn’t say it this ep, we’ll delete!

  4. Brittany says:

Shouldn’t Eric’s rose points be 35 since he got it on the group date? Thanks!

  5. Alex Miller says:

I’m just sitting here lamenting the fact that ABC forced us to do the mid-season draft so late in the season! Our league has 30 teams (phewww) and we give prizes to the top 10. Currently the teams in spots #1, #3, #5, #6, #10 and #13 have ALL FOUR remaining guys. So they’re basically going to steamroll themselves to the top over the next few episodes. Even MenTellAll can’t compete haha.

  6. Alex Miller says:

Would it even be possible to set up a fantasy league for Bachelor in Paradise? #interested
