Season 20 Episode 6: Points

If we’re being honest, the real winners this week were the girls with naturally straight hair and/or a weapon’s grade Keratin treatment.

The season’s drama hit its peak this week. So. Many. Crying. Points. Speaking of – Olivia doesn’t get em. She sure tried, but the only moisture I saw was the sea spray slowly but surely drenching her.

  1. Iloveben says:

Isn’t the 2 on 1 for Olivia and Emily considered a group date?

    • Kelly says:

Yes but only the girl who gets the rose gets the points

      • Steph says:

The other girls got points just for being selected to go on a group date…Olivia should at least get an extra 10 though I think the two-on-one should be worth extra points

      • Bach Fantasy says:

What Kelly said. Next year we plan to give points for just being selected to go on the two-on-one date, and then additional points for receiving the rose for the two-on-one date. As the points categories were laid out at the beginning of the season, what we have is correct.

  2. Melanie says:

Leah was on the pig boat too so I think she needs 10 extra points. Also she was mean. Too bad no points for that!

  3. Kelly says:

She didn’t say I love you she said I’m falling in love with you

  4. Kelly says:

    Oh nevermind

  5. KA says:

Emily says “I’m falling for him” to the camera while she’s on the two on one date! Thanks!

  6. Kelly says:

Can Amanda and Leah get riding on the boat points too?

  7. Dee says:

If you did the mid season draft. How do you add in the contestant scores on the spreadsheet for only the second half of the season?

  8. TR says:

Didn’t Jo Jo’s boobs get blurred as she was running for her in the pig water?

  9. The Bach Mamba says:

Becca said she didn’t know before today that she was afraid of pigs. Does that not count as “expressing fear of a date activity?”

  10. asdepesa says:

We participated in the mid season draft. Any suggestions for how we can add points moving forward to the spreadsheet?

If we put a check mark on the “league member teams” sheet we get the points for the entire season.

    Thanks!

    • kiss from a rose says:

the easiest way I found was clicking into the green cell for the teams that earned bonus points and adding “+70” after the closed bracket it nor reads “=sum(E2:E9)+70)” I repeated that for each person that chose points.

    • The Bach Mamba says:

On the episode 6 scoring page, I copied and special pasted (Go to Edit and choose “Paste Special” a little menu should pop up, choose the “values” option) the points to date row as so that all points earned during the first 5 weeks would be unaffected when I then changed the “League Member Teams” page to reflect the updated rosters (i.e. changed where their 5 Xs are).

      • Dee says:

Not sure how to do this still as it doesn’t change anything on my sheet. Can break down the steps more.

    • mcdor22 says:

I used a “y” to mark the new contestant that everyone picked (mark a y on the League Member Team for the new lady) and then changed the formula in the Ep#6 sheet to look for the “y” and add those points – this can be copied along for the rest of the sheets (Ep 6-10).

      =IF(‘League Member Teams’!B2=”x”,’Contestant Scores’!$G2, IF(‘League Member Teams’!B2=”y”,’Contestant Scores’!$G2, “-“))

Place that formula in the first cell on the Ep6 page and then drag down, then drag the whole column across and they will copy.

  11. Destiny Q says:

You have Lauren B. getting the rose to stay another week twice : )

  12. karleigh says:

didnt Olivia cry after she came back from talking with Ben before the first rose ceremony?

  13. Kay says:

Will Emily get the extra 20 points for saying she’s falling for him?

  14. Gabby says:

Carla said she loved Ben, not just that she was falling in love with him!

  15. Wave says:

You’ve counted twice for Becca getting the rose to stay another week.

  16. Sarah says:

Shouldn’t Lauren B. have an extra 30 points for having her butt blurred out when she was walking with Ben into the water?

  17. Evan says:

Leah did not get a rose to stay another week and therefore should not get the 25 points

  18. Lucy says:

Why does Caila get points for screaming, but all of the ladies screaming at the pigs did not?

  19. Kelly says:

Can you please tell me if points will be given for making it to hometowns after this next episode (when that’s clearly the next step) or just when they are in hometowns (2 episodes from
    Now?

  20. Noelle MacLennan says:

There were two rose ceremonies, but how come Amanda only got points for getting the rose on the group date, but not for the rose ceremony that was held at the beginning of the episode?
