FAQs

Do I need to register somewhere on your site?

Nope! Gather up your friends (your league) and draft your contestants. Designate a league commissioner to visit the site every Tuesday and keep track of your league’s points. (Click here to download a BachFantasy scoring template.)

How many teams can there be in a league?

Our humble league has 7 teams. Just remember: the more teams, the more overlap you’re likely to have in terms of drafting similar contestants. So, it might be a good idea to break into two leagues if you have more than 8 teams.

In my league, we want to draft more than five contestants to a team. Can we do that?

Be our guest! Five was the random number we chose to be able to keep track of the points the easiest. Feel free to draft more.

What happens if we all draft the same contestants?

Realistically, the chances of that are slim. But if it does happen, try having everyone in your league draft one additional contestant.

Can’t I just look up who wins online and then draft that contestant, ensuring that I win my league?

Well, I suppose you could. Did you also go around telling all your fellow second graders that Santa wasn’t real? Here at BachFantasy, we believe in the honor code. No looking up spoilers.

What does the league commissioner do? Do we need one?

Your league commissioner will be your go-to person for all things BachFantasy. You should email him or her with the names of your contestants when you draft.  He or she should also have a master team roster, and check the blog every Tuesday morning to see the contestants’ standings.

How does the league commissioner keep track of all the points?

We use a master Google Doc spreadsheet and found that it works quite well. Click here to download a BachFantasy scoring template.

Can some people actually not live without blush?

It appears so.

Would be awesome to track points for the Women Tell All episode so that we could have someone “back in the game” points wise. Make it a last ditch effort to get ahead. :)

I’m going to try and commissioner for my friends this year – does it take a lot of time to calculate points?

Jake, I think you’ll be up to the task. It’s not too bad at all. I’m also the league commissioner for my friends’ league and I have a Google doc that I just update every Tuesday. Your friends DO owe you a beer at the end of the season, though.

Will you be doing this for Chris’ season?

So we started a league…I am the commish (lucky me). Are the stats updated by girl each week?
